The lies regarding the new legislation passed by Arizona SB 1070 are very misleading and damaging. The truth is all border states should pass this same bill . It Still gives the Federal Government Authority to determine the legal status of suspected aliens. It forbids law enforcement officers from stopping suspected aliens for non legal reasons. it assures the aliens full court appeals if convicted. It holds employers and those who transport illegal immigrants accountable. It limits the illegal immigrants from getting public benefits. It goes after human smugglers.
